A proper invoice consists of the names and contact information of both the customer and seller, a detailed description of the services or products provided, the corresponding price for each item, and the grand total amount owed. Invoices typically include a payment due date, a billing period, and a preferred payment method.

Receiving Compensation

Invoices play a crucial role in ensuring that a company receives full and timely payment. Getting paid can be challenging if you don’t have a correct invoice. Typically, companies require a thorough invoice to be submitted prior to making any payments. Using payment phrases can be a valuable strategy for businesses to efficiently collect outstanding payments.

For instance, an agency might also specify that payment is required upon receipt, within 30 days of receipt, or within 60 days of receipt. Adding a late fee provision to a bill, such as charging $20 for late payments, can also ensure prompt payment.

Generating an invoice

To create an invoice, simply click on the “Add Invoice” button and you can easily prepare a new invoice for yourself.

By selecting the Keywords option, you can access a comprehensive list of terms that can be utilized on Invoices to accurately represent the relevant information. Feel free to download and preview PDF files to ensure everything is in order. In addition, you have the option to import your HTML template as an Invoice by simply clicking on the Code view.

Including Invoices in Notifications.

Once the invoices have been created and saved, it is important to include them as attachments in the notifications. Adding invoices to various types of notifications is a straightforward process. To achieve this, navigate to the Workflow module and proceed to edit the appropriate action. Then, include your invoice either as a URL or a file path.

In the notification template box, you’ll find a section called Attachment(s) at the bottom. Within this section, we have the ability to select the desired invoice and configure our notification preferences for saving. That’s all.

You have the option to link several invoices to your notification actions.
