In certain business scenarios, it may not be the most ideal practice to ask customers to pay the full amount upfront during the booking process. Occasionally, there may be instances where customers are required to pay a deposit upfront, with the remaining balance due upon confirmation of the appointment. However, obtaining the remaining amount can be an incredibly frustrating experience. If your business operates solely online and lacks a physical presence, accepting online payments becomes essential for receiving payments from customers.

Providing customers with convenient payment options
mySched has discovered a solution to this issue! Now, you have the convenient option to send payment links to your customers, allowing them to easily settle any outstanding balances. Let’s say your client has a recurring appointment but only wants to pay for the first one. In this case, you can conveniently send them a payment link for the remaining appointments prior to each appointment. By utilising the convenient reminder feature, you can effortlessly send the payment link to your customer with options like one day before the appointment or one hour before the appointment. You have the option to send payment links for all payment methods, allowing you to create links for popular platforms like Stripe, Paypal, Mollie, Square, or Razorpay, and easily share them with your customers.

You have the option to create payment links either manually through the admin dashboard or have them automatically generated and sent to customers through Workflows. You can find both options on mySched. If you’re looking to manually create a payment link, simply choose your preferred payment method from the options provided in the Appointment info section. A payment template will be generated to settle the outstanding amount based on the payment due for the appointment.

Moreover, Workflow offers specific shortcodes that can be used to send payment links. Each payment method requires a unique shortcode. Here are the shortcodes you need. You can utilise these shortcodes in the Workflow module to achieve the desired action. Additionally, they can also be incorporated into your Invoice.
