Adding a Staff

Congratulations on setting up your first location! Now, let’s proceed to the next step: adding staff members.

Hit Create a Staff

Navigate to the Staff tab from the left menu or click on the create staff link in the fourth step of the Starting Guide. You will be taken to the Staff page as shown below.

Click on the Add Staff button on the right side.

Staff Details

Fill out the Staff Details form.

Add Staff

  • Full name: Enter the full name of the staff.
  • Profession: Enter the profession of the staff.
  • Email: Provide the email address of the staff.
  • Phone: Enter the staff's phone number.
  • Allow to log in: Toggle this switch if you want the staff to be able to log in. If enabled, set a password for the staff, and they will be able to log in through the mysched.co/login page and perform actions according to the permissions you set later.
  • Image: Upload an image for the staff. This picture will be used as the staff's profile photo. Allowed file extensions are png and jpg, and the maximum resolution is 800x800 with a file size not exceeding 5MB.
  • Locations: Select the location(s) where the staff works.
  • Services: Select the services that the staff provides (if you have followed our guide up to this point, we have not added any services yet; you can leave this blank for now).
  • Note: Enter any notes about the staff.

After filling out this information, you can create a specific weekly schedule for your staff from the weekly schedule screen.

Toggle the switch:

Set the working hours for each day of the week, and/or designate days off.

Special Days

Add Special Day

From the Special Days screen, you can set a specific work schedule for official or corporate holidays. Designate a schedule for these days, which may include additional overtime or shorter working hours for your staff.

Holidays

The Holidays tab is ideal for annual leaves and public holidays. Simply select the days off for your employee, and those days will be blocked from booking appointments for that staff.

Congratulations, you can now add your first staff member by clicking the Add Staff button. After creating the staff, you can see your staff list as shown in the image below.
