Holidays Settings

In some cases, certain days throughout the year may be non-working days for your business, and you may not intend to accept appointments on these days. If an appointment is booked for a day when your business is not operational, it could negatively impact your company. You might have to contact the customer to inform them of your unavailability, leading to inconvenience for both parties. However, this issue is effectively managed with the Holidays feature in the Mysched Appointment Booking Software.

Setting Up Holidays

Mysched allows you to designate any day as a Holiday directly in the settings. When a day is set as a Holiday, it applies to your entire business, affecting all locations, services, and staff. On these days, no appointments will be accepted, ensuring there is no confusion or need for cancellations.

Specifying Holidays for Individual Staff

If you prefer to set holidays only for specific staff members rather than the entire business, Mysched offers a flexible solution. You can achieve this by editing the staff profile:

  1. Go to the Staff Profile section.
  2. Navigate to the Holidays tab in the menu above.
  3. Select the desired day and mark it as a Holiday.

By doing so, the selected staff member will not be available for appointments on that day, while the rest of your business operations can continue as usual.

This feature allows you to manage both company-wide and individual staff availability, preventing booking conflicts and maintaining smooth operations across all levels of your business.
